Founder & Instructor Janani Beadle
Janani's fitness journey started when she became a Zumba Instructor in 2010 and identified the need for a fitness platform and exposure in her community. She eventually began to GET FIT JANANI, a place to get fit to songs that the attendees can connect with popular Tamil, Hindi, and Hip-Hop songs. The classes are for everyone and anyone wanting to dance and get fit at the same time. Janani's workout fitness videos have become a hit on social media, including YouTube, gaining worldwide popularity. She was invited to gyms in Chennai, India, to facilitate fitness classes and attended as a guest speaker for Brown Boss Babes IWD and Tamil Women’s Development event to educate the South Asian community. GET FIT JANANI has volunteered for many fitness workshops for NFP organisations to spread awareness of healthy, active lifestyles. Janani's dedication, talent, and experiences have allowed her to share her passion and inspire those around her.

Ratna Sarves
At GFJ, Ratna is the life of the party, with her infectious energy and positive nature. She has been part of GFJ since 2014. She started as a member and trained with Janani to become an instructor!
Vithia Kantharoopan
Dancing for over 10 years with Janani, Vithia specialises in Bollywood, Hip Hop, Kuthu and now Fitness! We call her the Pocket Rocket for a reason, come and find out why!

We believe any movement is therapy, and here at GET FIT JANANI, Dance is our therapy.
We are here to help you prioritise yourself, physically and mentally. We want you to FEEL GREAT after every workout and see the positive changes you are making for yourself.
CLASS FORMAT – A quick warm-up, cardio-focused dance moves, followed by full body toning using 1 kg dumbbells. Then we turn it up by ending the last 15 minutes with HIIT, legs & core burn session! Don’t worry, we end the class with a relaxing cooldown, and we do have water breaks.
KIND NOTE - The first class may be overwhelming as we cover an hour-long class filled with choreographed dance/fitness steps as well as physical challenges. But we promise that after a few classes, you will feel a big difference in your coordination, endurance, and mental well-being. You will walk out feeling empowered.
Dance Only
Learn all the latest moves and hook steps in our “dance only” classes, and also be part of our videos and reels.
CLASS FORMAT – We start with a head-to-toe warm-up to get your body ready to dance to your full potential. We work on activating your muscles, increasing flexibility and connecting your mind to muscles. We also do a few dance exercises to help with technique and form.
For the rest of the lesson, we teach step-by-step choreography to a Tamil or Bollywood song. We promise you will be feeling fabulous & confident like a Cinema star!
Anti-Age Strength Training
Strength training means slowing and reversing the ageing process at the cellular and genetic level, increasing your energy, protecting against the effects of ageing, improving insulin resistance (the kindling for all sorts of diseases), reducing mortality and improving brain function.
This 30-45 minute class is designed to help you:
Yoga
This class is for Beginner & Intermediate Levels.
Vinyasa Flow – A strong and dynamic class inspired by Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, linking movement to breath to help you build strength and flexibility using body weight exercises and plenty of repetition. This class will help you build up and release heat in the body, preparing you for a relaxing meditation at the end.
The benefits of Hatha yoga include better sleep, strengthening core muscles, improving depression symptoms, and helping with stress management.
Yin Yoga – A passive practice of tapping into and releasing the connective tissue in the body. This practice incorporates elements of traditional Chinese medicine to help increase circulation in the joints and create greater flexibility. This passive practice is aimed at helping you find stillness, letting go of tension and coming into alignment with your true self.

We run classes 4 terms per year, which consist of 8–10 weeks, depending on the school term. We do not run regular classes during school holidays.

We welcome females over 16 years of age at GET FIT JANANI.
Please head to our page “BOOKINGS”, select the class you wish to attend and proceed to checkout.
To book a class pass, select the class pass you wish to purchase, select at least one class you plan to attend and proceed to checkout.
What to wear: Comfortable/Gym clothing. Closed shoes – joggers or dance shoes.
What to bring: Water bottle, Towel or Yoga mat and set of 0.5kg-1kg hand weights & Resistance Leg Band.
We recommend having a fitness bag with all the required items. Easy to grab and go!
You can access your class booking via the Booking Confirmation email.
You can transfer your pass use if the class is in the same location, or it is the same type of class. If you need to change to a class in a different location, or it’s a different type of class, you will need to cancel and rebook.
You can cancel or transfer your booked class if it is done 15 minutes prior to the class commencement time. You can only cancel/rebook/transfer within the same term.

We understand that you may need to bring your child, and we are happy to accommodate you, as we don’t want you to miss out on class. Due to OH&S, your child will need to sit in the visitor/waiting room and will not be permitted into the class space at any time the class is running. Please advise us before class.

I have been going to Janani since 2021 and I love every second of my time there. She has a warm personality and a great teacher. I absolutely love her warm up sessions before learning dance routines. The isolation exercises of hip, chest really hit hard in a good way and it kind of makes us discover and connect with our own bodies. She teaches all the hook steps and sometimes even better moves. If you love and enjoy dancing as much as I do, then this is the class for you!! Don’t wait, take a free trial class and see. I have tried her dance fitness classes as well, and they will drench you in sweat and makes your body work to its fullest. She uses some nice mix of tracks too. My favourite part of a GET FIT JANANI dance fitness class is the variety of music and different levels you can challenge yourself. I love how we integrate dumbells and bands into the workout too! The opportunity to do cardio, HIIT, abs and more in one workout that is also very fun is amazing!
My favourite part of the strength class is the variety of workouts you will be presented with. One day you will be using the wall, another time kettlebell, and another time resistance bands. Things are always interesting and challenging in a good way.
My favourite part of the dance class is the opportunity to learning hooksteps to popular songs and I love the style of choreography Janani brings to the class.
My favourite part of the yoga class is the opportunity to connect with ourselves and improve our mental well-being. This class brings a lot of stability, calmness and personal strength.
I would like to finish off with the level of flexibility GET FIT JANANI offers in terms of location and pricing. Thank you for being the highlight of my working day after work. I did a summer intensive course and it was such good value. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the music but at the same time it was a great workout. Janani is very inclusive, even beginners to dance cardio will enjoy the tracks. As a bonus they have a community group via whatsapp which helps you stay on track and keep motivated. I asked Janani for some help learning the steps and she made a quick video which was awesome. Highly recommend this program.

We only accept payments via our booking system. We do not offer EFTPOS facilities or accept cash payments.
Term Class Policy
Our classes are designed to run for 10 weeks during the NSW school term. We offer class passes for each term, and pass use is only valid for the term that you paid for.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds, credits, or transfers to others. Please ensure you fully accept our policies before you purchase our class passes.

Important Information for You
GET FIT JANANI endeavours to provide a safe and secure environment for each member.
Classes entail certain risks, including but not limited to the danger of personal injury, which cannot be fully eliminated. The member voluntarily elects to attend the classes and assumes all risks of loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained as a result of attending or participating in the classes.
To the extent permitted by the law, the student agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless GET FIT JANANI and its Personnel against, from and in respect of all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including but not limited to consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damages for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from (a) a breach by the Student of their obligations under this Agreement; (b) any act or omission (whether negligent, dishonest, fraudulent or otherwise) of GET FIT JANANI; or (c) the member’s attendance or participation in the classes and their use of the Services.
Including, but not limited to all creative content that is created by GET FIT JANANI, belongs to GET FIT JANANI.
Each indemnity is a continuing obligation and survives termination or expiration of this Agreement. It is not necessary for GET FIT JANANI to incur expenses or make any payment before enforcing a right of indemnity under this Agreement.
